The First Sign of Spring
As I sit here in the midst of an "ice storm" in Memphis, TN, I thought it was worth mentioning that the first sign of Spring is upon us. Pitchers and catchers have reported to FL and AZ for baseball's Spring Training. This sign is shortly to be followed by the 2nd sign of Spring, Jared's first "baseball sucks" joke.
I mention this not only because of the frigid weather (punishment for the mild January across the country, no doubt), but because of a potential gathering that comes with baseball season. On the weekend of June 16, 17, and 18 the Red Sox will be visiting the Atlanta Braves. I have already spoken to a few people who I know are interested in going (myself, SB, Bubba, and Caroline so far), but I wanted to take this opportunity to see if anyone else might be interested in catching a game that weekend. Leave a comment if you are, and I'll get in touch so we can figure out the specifics of buying tickets sometime next month.
