Pictures of Baby Jiggler (aka Dominic)
Hi guys, I guess this is my first post after having the baby. I'm glad to say that I am almost fully recovered and am doing great. Dominic is growing like crazy and is already over 12 pounds at 5 weeks of age which is huge considering he is already in 3-6 month old clothes. He is a good baby, which is a relief to us since we were bracing ourselves for otherwise. :) Last Sunday Dominic was baptized and my whole family and Jared's family all came down for the occasion...so needless to say it was pretty hectic.
Anyways, I finally uploaded some pictures of the little guy to my Yahoo Photos page. So enjoy!

How Do I Attract 'Em?
OK, this probably has nothing to do with anything, but I'm going to post it anyway because of the sheer hilarity Jason and each of my former roommates tend to find in the random guys that hit on me.
As most of you know, I'm in the process of a move to Georgia. Well, two days ago I went to the DMVS to get my driver's license. There was a HUGE wait, all the way out the door and then some, so it took over two hours. So somewhere in between the paperwork and the picture-taking, I sit down and the guy next to me strikes up a conversation. Not even ten minutes into the conversation, he tells me, "I've been locked up." I think surely I've heard him wrong, but no. Apparently this is not the first time this has happened either. He is down at the DMVS, with his mother nonetheless, getting his license reinstated. He then proceeds to complain about how he doesn't have time for this, because he would rather be out there "making friends". Then he goes on to say, "I think I may have already found one." and gives me his phone number! Hello, in what part of this conversation did he think I was going to call him?! Here's a hint... when you start the conversation with "I've been locked up." there's a pretty good chance the girl doesn't want your phone number! Anyway, there's your random posting for the day! :-P

Nashville
*** First, the title is designed not to stir alarm. ***
Apparently there was a car bomb in Nashville. Only the driver died. Now, they don't know what the purpose behind the bomb was, but it was located near a large hotel (almost 3,000 rooms). The only reason I mention this is because of the facts that my parents now live in Nashville. Additionally, only Fox News has this article on their front page. You have to use the search engine to find it at MSNBC and CNN doesn't even have it.

Orange You Glad to be a Tiger?
Today, the official site for Auburn athletics finally revealed the meaning behind the "All Auburn, All Orange" ads that have been appearing on the site for the last few days:
Regardless, I'm glad to see all this be harnessed to help a worthy cause. I should be in my usual spot for the LSU game -- one of at most two games I can attend this year -- and I'll be there in orange.
The Auburn University Athletics Department and the Auburn Student Government Association announce the introduction of "All Auburn, All Orange", a program established to create unity and spirit among the Auburn student body, alumni, fans and student-athletes at events throughout the school year.I for one have had mixed feelings about Coach Tuberville's emphasis on orange. Blue is my favorite color, and Auburn's navy is quite a tough color; on the other hand, a sea of orange is much more impressive on TV and in person.
One home game during each sport season will be designated as an "All Auburn, All Orange" event. At each designated event, fans will be encouraged to wear orange.
"The spirit of Auburn will be brought to the forefront with this program," said head football coach Tommy Tuberville. "I know our fans will respond and we will have a sea of orange in the stands at each of our 'All Auburn, All Orange' events."
Fans may purchase an "All Auburn, All Orange" t-shirt beginning August 6 at Auburn area retail outlets. Five percent of the revenue from each shirt sold will benefit Tiger Habitat, the Habitat for Humanity program at Auburn University. The Tiger Habitat program challenges Auburn University students to complete a Habitat for Humanity home every other year for a member of the Auburn University faculty and staff...
The program will begin with the Auburn-LSU football game on September 18 (CBS, 2:30 p.m.) and continue through the spring sports season. [link]

Two Jones' in Education
My apologies to all for this post taking so long to get on here, but for some reason my mom's computer (back home) doesn't like to post.
Anywho, for all who do not know, Michele (yes, my wife now :) ) was offered a job this past Thursday, July 15th. She will find out tomorrow night (Tuesday) if she officially has the job when the school board votes on her. Obviously, I don't think she has anything to worry about because (for those of you who do not know) her dad is on the school board. However, he will not be voting in this because he feels that it would represent a conflict of interests (rightly so). I will post an update once we know something else.
All times Central. War Damn Eagle.
