Well, things are going well here. This is a picture of an Easter party we had last Saturday. (Jason, the Korean girl is next to the American Girl). In other news, thanks to modern technology (Skype, which y'all need to get) I now have an American phone number and answering service. If you want to call, my number is 1-626-921-4783

*EDIT* The phone number has been corrected.

The eternal struggle has come to an end

Yes, that's right folks. As of 8:00 am Central time tomorrow (March 30), I begin a new employment with West Florida Electric nestled in the small town of Graceville, Fl. My official position will be "network support specialist". In basic terms, it's a telecom/network tech. position. I get the feeling that my first few days will consist of untangling the cables in the electrical closets that the "professionals" left after the recent renovation. After that, maintainence and upkeep for the phones, ethernet, and fiberoptic lines between the main office and the 2 branch offices will probably me busy for a while.

I'm sure that there will be times when I'll either love it or hate it, but one things for sure....I won't be working in the auto parts store again. I believe that calls for a happy dance.

*Dances*

*Dances again*

*Dances once more for good measure*

In other news, My apologies for the lack of posts and comments in the last few months. Things have been pretty uneventful for a while...then this whole thing with the job happened in a matter of days. Guess that's just how things work sometimes. I do know that I have more news to post, but I can't say anything about to until after a press release on April 1 (by the way, I instinctively distrust any 'news' released on that day). Dont' worry though, it's all good news, but has very little to do with me and more to do with my friend Michael and his art. Anywho, look for a post on that subject in a few days when I'm free to talk about it. I"m not supposed to know anything about it anyways.

Stop and Smell the Pixels.

Since I havn't posted anything in so long, I thought I'd get back to the simple things in life...

Today, why don't you take a moment to visit the campus webcams if you havn't had a chance to visit the Plains in a while. It's very relaxing. Sometimes, from the Biz cam, you can almost see the parking nazis hunting their prey in the hilltop underbrush of the nearby A zone...
