Graduation Update
Graduation is now a ticketed event. The official site says that this is because of Vice President Cheney's appearance at the event. There is no mention of how many tickets each graduate may have, but informed sources indicate that the limit is 6 per graduate. Conveniently, this was apparently announced today, a full 3 days before the actual graduation ceremonies.
So, essentially, if anyone planned to have more than 6 family members and/or friends come to graduation, Auburn's response to you is "Tough." I'm getting teary-eyed with nostalgia for the Auburn administrative beast. The need for more security is understandable, but Auburn has known that Cheney was coming for weeks, and waiting until now announce the attendance restrictions seems a tad unfair.
