Oy.
I should really check whether I'm posting to the Broun Blog or to my personal blog.
Nothing to see in this post. Move along, move along.

Resolving Resolute Resolutions.
Wishing everyone a prosperous 05. Now is the time of new calendars, erasing "/04" every time you write it on your checks, and the transition from Foosball season to Dick Vitale season.
As we reflect on what 04 has brought us, we are reminded of...
umm....
Well, here's to the new year bringing you more than the last. Cheers. *clink*

Payday for Tommy
For those of you who had also heard the "Tuberville to LSU" rumors, they can be put to rest now. Tommy Tuberville has just agreed to a 7-year, $16 Million dollar contract extension with Auburn. Full story here.
This comes on the heels of Friday's announcement that Tommy Tuberville was named the AP's Coach of the Year.
If Auburn can keep this core coaching staff together (head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, offensive line coach), then I am relatively confident that Auburn will remain a SEC Title contender next season, in spite of all of the seniors who will be leaving the team. Nick Saban's departure from LSU to coach the Miami Dolphins (hit the road, jack!) could also be a potential boost for Auburn's recruiting this winter/spring.
Between the AP Honor, Nick Saban's departure from the SEC, and now the contract extension, it has been a VERY good week for Tommy Tuberville, and by extension, for the Auburn Tigers football program.
All times Central. War Damn Eagle.
