AU Preview: Ole Miss

Ole Miss has an improving defense to use against Auburn's powerful offense. Here's the ESPN breakdown.

Key Matchups
1. Ole Miss WR Mario Hill vs. Auburn CB Carlos Rogers
Hill has become Ole Miss' most reliable WR, but he lacks the size to get off of Rogers in press coverage. If Rogers can take him out of the game with single coverage, Auburn's defense will be able to blitz and put more pressure onto Ole Miss' offense overall

2. Auburn WR Courtney Taylor vs. Ole Miss CB Trumaine McBride
Auburn's leading WR in catches goes against Ole Miss' leading CB in INTs and passes deflected. When Ole Miss blitzes, it will be up to McBride to keep the closest thing that Jason Campbell has to a go-to WR from hurting them too much

3. Auburn QB Jason Campbell vs. Ole Miss FS Eric Oliver
Oliver has no interceptions, but has a large number of tackles. When he comes up in run support, Campbell needs to hit whoever goes over him down the middle.

Ok, since the game just started (heh, oops), I'll just skip to ESPN's prediction.

ESPN's Prediction: Auburn 30, Ole Miss 17

Sorry about being late. Just got back from celebrating the greatest postseason run in the history of sports with SB and some friends.

They Have Exorcised the Demons!

During a lunar eclipse, the Boston Red Sox swept the supposed best team in baseball to win their first World Series since 1918.

Congratulations to Jason and the rest of the Red Sox Nation. Jason, feel free to use this entry to your heart's content.

And I close with what I think is the stat of the series. Against one of the best offenses in all of baseball, three Boston pitchers -- Lowe, Pedro, and Schilling -- pitched a combined 20 innings.

Their combined ERA? 0.00.
