AU Preview: Louisiana-Monroe.
I plan to have a preview for every football game this season, hopefully a little earlier in the week and with a bit more in-depth analysis, with your help.
That said, this Saturday, our Auburn Tigers begins its season with a home game against the Indians of Louisiana-Monroe. Kickoff is at 1:30 pm CT, and the game will be available on pay-per-view in both Alabama and Louisiana.
The AU Network radio broadcast will begin at 11:30 am CT (affiliate list here). For those of us outside the region, the broadcast will most likely be available online, at the AU Athletics official site, AuburnTigers.com.
Look for the debut of a new offensive scheme, new tailgate barbecue vendors on-campus, and the return of a familiar feathered friend. Any post-game reports about the team, the 'cue, and the eagles will be very much appreciated.
If you're listening online, feel free to use the comments link here as a "chatroom" with fellow Brounies.
And if you're bound for the plains, feel free to use the Broun Blog to organize get-togethers for this and every subsequent game. (I'll be home -- i.e., the south end zone -- for the LSU game and may well use the Blog myself to see who else will be there.)
War Damn Eagle, y'all.

Good Grief!
I meant to post this earlier, nevertheless: the AU Theater production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown has been held over for a few more shows. Its last scheduled shows are this week, September 1-3.
Interested parties can call the ticket office at (334) 844-4154, and more is on the way, starting with Bertolt Brecht's Galileo in October.
All times Central. War Damn Eagle.
